May 23, 2025 – According to the latest quarterly report released by RUNTO, a leading market research firm, the global shipments of interactive flat panels (IFPs) reached 585,000 units in the first quarter of 2025, representing a year-on-year increase of 16.5%. Driven by the booming hybrid work and digital transformation trends, the commercial segment has become the main growth engine, outperforming the education sector significantly.

Broken down by scenario, the education segment recorded 331,000 shipments with a modest YoY growth of 2.2%, while the commercial segment saw a robust 42.7% YoY surge to 254,000 units. Geographically, China remained the largest single market, contributing 231,000 units (39.4% of global total) with a 14.1% YoY increase. Overseas markets showed mixed performance, with only North America posting a slight 4.3% decline, while other regions maintained positive growth momentum.

The report also highlighted the brand competition pattern: in the global education IFP market, international brands such as SMART, Promethean, and Viewsonic dominated with a combined CR4 of 58.0%; in China, Seewo led the market with a 52.6% share, followed by Honghe, Hikvision, Andao, and iFlytek, accounting for 84.2% of the total market. For the commercial segment, Samsung, Viewsonic, LG, Logitech, and BenQ held the top positions globally with a CR5 of 45.6%, while the Chinese market was dominated by MAXHUB, Haoli, Huawei, Hikvision, and newline. RUNTO forecasts that global IFP shipments will reach 2.66 million units in 2025, a 4% YoY growth.
